Goal #1

Trail Riding

This has always been the main goal and we are working on it!

Progress

03/2012 - We started lessons in the indoor arena and quickly took them outside. I even rode outside! And we have done in hand work on a trail. Shy seemed unfazed by any goings on in the woods.
11/2012 - Shy broke her saddle. This is now on hold.
05/2013 - Got a new-ish saddle. . .haven't used it.
02/2014 - Got a Circle Y saddle, love it!
08/2014 - Started riding Reba for confidence boosting

Goal #2

Driving

Progress  

We have the harness, we can line drive, and we have hooked up a sled and a tire. And a cart! I also have fake shafts made from PVC pipe. Lots of progress made. Shy even took some people horse sledding!

Got a cart, sold the cart. Drove in a few shows and took a couple steps back in our training. Back to line driving and trying and open bridle.

Tricks

Because who doesn't want to see the cutest pony in the world be even cuter?

Goal #4

Ride bitless/bridleless

Progress

Can ride Shy around at a walk bareback and in a halter. . .in a confined area. 

Goal #5

Ride bareback

Progress

Stalled. I was riding bareback at the slow slow walk for a bit, but then I fell off. 
Been tooling around bareback at the walk for a little bit. This is how I enjoy riding the most.
