It was so cold today, I had to wear a hat! Brrrr! I am not ready for this!
After going to the Applefest with Mike and visiting my sister in law who was having her baby girl, I headed out to the barn. I worked Shyloh on hills and did some spirals on the lunge line. I have to wait until the surcingle is repaired until I can start more exercises. Then I chilled with Shy for a bit and braided her mane. I am convinced she loves her mane being braided.
I just want to share some videos of my all time favorite Haflinger and rider pair, Chesna and Pippin. They are absolutely amazing to me! Enjoy!
So awesome! I would love to be able to ride like that and have that bond with Shy.
I loved in that last video how everything wasn't perfect. Like when she mounted from a running start behind her horse. The first time the horse walked off, and the second she didn't make it. She is an excellent horse woman, with a great partner. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! It goes to show you can be great and not perfect!
DeleteI want to ride like that one of these days! Looks like they both had a good time :)
ReplyDeleteMom was thinking about adding that first one on my blog so show how fanastic we Haflingers can be. She actually cried watching it for the first time yesterday.
ReplyDeleteAdd away! I love promoting the awesomeness of Haflingers :)
DeleteI get chills when I watch them, they are so amazing together!
Fantastic stuff! truly amazing.
ReplyDeleteThat was amazing!
ReplyDeleteAnd talk about "uphill" flying changes. Holy Mackerel!
